Harsh Mishra

Founder, Harsh Mishra and Associates (HMA)

Harsh Mishra is a senior legal, compliance, and governance leader with over 26 years of experience across multiple industries, including healthcare, automobile, banking, conglomerates, etc. His expertise spans strategic legal advisory, mergers & acquisitions, compliance management, corporate governance, and risk mitigation. Harsh has successfully led and managed complex legal projects, such as the merger of Centurion Bank of Punjab with HDFC Bank, the acquisition of London International Hospital, and led the divestiture of Edwards Lifesciences’ Critical Care business for Greater India and Southeast Asia aspects. He is known for his business acumen and for his abilities to drive innovative solutions to enable business growth and inspire governance.

At Edwards Lifesciences, Harsh has been a key legal leader, providing strategic direction and compliance oversight for operations in Greater India, Southeast Asia, and Kuala Lumpur Business Services Centre. He has also been instrumental in liaising with regulators and governmental bodies, guiding the company’s supplies under public procurement and Make in India guidelines, and representing the organization at industry forums.

Prior to Edwards, Harsh held leadership roles with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, HDFC Bank, and Tata Group, where he played a key role in managing corporate restructuring, legal compliance, mergers and acquisitions, public affairs, IP, Employee Relations, Factories Act, and Pollution Control/Waste Management compliances. He is a published author on various legal topics and hold Law Degree and dual Company Secretary qualification from India and UK.

From January 2025 onwards, Harsh has started new chapter in his career journey and founded Harsh Mishra and Associates, Company Secretaries and Corporate Law Advisors. Besides, he is serving as Director on the Board of IST Oldham Instruments India Private Limited, Mumbai, a subsidiary of Teledyne Group, US.

Simran Laxkar

Associate – Governance & Compliance

Ms. Simran Laxkar is a Governance, Compliance, and Corporate Laws professional with hands‑on experience in statutory compliance, regulatory filings, and corporate governance frameworks.
She joined Harsh Mishra and Associates in February 2026 as an Associate – Governance & Compliance. In her role, she supports clients across diverse sectors in matters relating to corporate governance, and statutory and regulatory compliance advisory, with a strong focus on ethical practices and transparency.
Simran brings a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach to compliance management and is deeply committed to upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity. Her work contributes to strengthening governance‑driven corporate culture and ensuring regulatory adherence for HMA’s clients.
At HMA, she actively supports the firm’s mission of Empowering Businesses, Ensuring Compliance, and Enabling Growth.

Malvika Kalyani

Consultant – Corporate Legal & Compliance

Malvika Kalyani is a Corporate Legal, Compliance and Company Secretarial professional with nearly a decade of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, company secretarial practices, commercial contracts, product liability and corporate litigation. She has extensive exposure to multi-entity group structures and regulated business environments, and has successfully managed end-to-end governance and compliance functions while advising senior management on legal and regulatory matters.

Her experience includes handling statutory and regulatory compliances, corporate governance frameworks, contractual advisory, litigation management, and coordination with regional and global compliance teams. Known for her practical, solution-oriented approach and strong professional integrity, Malvika assists businesses in navigating complex legal and compliance challenges while enabling sustainable and compliant growth.

Malvika holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), and is an Associate Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Her blend of legal, secretarial and compliance expertise enables her to provide comprehensive and business-focused advisory solutions to clients across diverse sectors.

Nandini Dwivedi

Legal Intern

Nandini Dwivedi is a Legal Intern associated with Harsh Mishra & Associates (HMA) since May 2026. She supports the firm’s corporate legal and compliance practice through legal research, drafting, and regulatory advisory work across a range of corporate, commercial and governance matters.

Nandini holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law University Odisha. She has gained exposure to corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, competition law and FEMA-related matters through her academic and professional experiences.

Her work and interests span corporate governance, company law compliances, transaction documentation, technology law, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks. Nandini has also been actively involved in legal research, writing and mooting, with publications on reputed legal platforms and notable achievements in national moot court competitions.

At HMA, she assists the team in delivering practical, business-oriented legal and compliance solutions while continuing to develop her expertise in corporate and commercial laws.
